Sanjay cared for people at a very personal level

I just pulled up my last texting conversation with Sanjay. We were work colleagues but our last conversation wasn't about work. Sanjay reached out to me after the most recent earthquakes near where we both live with this text, "Hope all is safe with you and the family". That was the kind of person Sanjay was. He connected with people at a very personal and genuine level. To know Sanjay was to be his friend!

Sanjay: yo, did you guys feel the earthquake? Hope all is safe with you and the family

Me: Thanks man, we felt bad that you had an Earthquake so we had to have our own...;) it rocked us good but no damage, take care!

Sanjay: Good to hear. Crazy times. Im just waiting for dark swarm to appear soon ;) Stay safe my friend

Me: U2!

Sanjay will be missed, this world needs more Sanjays!
